Mold Testing & Remediation
Mold abatement has become one of the hottest topics in the arena of indoor air quality. While mold is ubiquitous to our environment, the indoor environment should always be free of active mold
growth and elevated levels of mold spores and other fungal particulates.
To achieve this goal, any specifications or protocols for mold abatement must be clear and concise. Doc Air professionals add a measure of common sense and knowledge of risk
assessment to all of our abatement protocols, which ensures that our clients can return to their homes or offices quickly and that overall project costs are reduced. Our step-by-step abatement
procedures are accompanied by photographic documentation and a full report detailing the cause of the problem.
Testing and Sampling—Latest methods used in testing and sampling, with laboratory analysis only by accredited AIHA laboratories
We believe that indoor air quality sampling should only be performed to prove or disprove a specific hypothesis. With regards to mold, we feel that far too much money is spent on
samples that yield no useful information. Our professionals can quickly determine precisely what (if any) sampling is needed to corroborate the information found in our reports.
All of our samples are analyzed in a laboratory accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). We currently support the following analyses:
- Mold
- Airborne (viable and non-viable)
- Bulk
- Surface
- Wall Cavities
- Carpet Dust
- Radon
- Asbestos
- Bulk
- Airborne
- Dust
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
- Endotoxins
- Metals
We are adding new analytical procedures all the time, so please contact us if you have a specific sampling request.
